Publicity, consultancy and advocacy for culture and activism – let’s tell your story.
We love the unmissable and bold; the unapologetic and artistically possessed. With a portfolio including Pussy Riot, Reuben Kaye, Travis Alabanza and Leyla Josephine, Storytelling PR specialises in the revolutionary live performance of this age.
Year-round, we run the Summerhall press office and deliver kick-arse campaigns for both UK touring theatre and shorter runs, with current and previous clients including the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Stellar Quines, Sh!t Theatre, the ReCreate Agency and FERAL Arts. We know Scotland’s arts scene – including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe – inside-out, and pride ourselves on top-class artist care.
The team is made up of Managing Director Miriam Attwood; Executive Director Emma Ainley-Walker; Senior Publicists Ambrose Kelly and Polly Glynn; and Publicists Erin Frances Speirs, Kirsty Somerville, Fergus Craig, Yeyun Zhou and Luka Smyth.
Despite every project having a chosen campaign lead, we work collaboratively as a team to get the most out of our combined knowledge, creativity, and genre-spanning contacts. This method has allowed us to get some truly impressive coverage for our artists, companies, and creatives – and it makes every day in the office more open, interesting, and inspiring.
“The best feminist PR company in the UK.”
